You have all done amazingly, I am so proud of everyone’s progress. You’re my little stars, keep shining!
We will be celebrating the Royal Wedding on 18th May. All children can wear their own clothes – blue, white or red colours or their smartest party outfit.
We will have a fun packed day learning about the Royal Family and the importance of the celebration for Britain.
Congratulations to Ali and Samantha, you have both shown great enthusiasm towards the SATs. Keep it up Super-Stars!!
Although the blog picture hasn’t changed the topic has. Please read the ‘Blossoming News’ found in your child’s planner/bag, it is an overview of the topic and informs you of any key dates.
Miss Meek 🙂
The children thoroughly enjoyed ‘Time To Potter’ (and so did the teachers). All the children planted a seed and took a tour around the garden centre. They then went on the hunt for wild flowers, matching them up to their correct name.
The timetable of when the SATs will commence is in your child’s planner. Please make sure you check it daily.
Any extra SATs practise or reading will benefit your child.
Thank you for your continued support.
Miss Meek =)
Reminder to all Year 2 parents/ Carers that the SATs meeting will take place on Friday 20th March, in the School Hall at 2.30pm.
Do NOT panic if you can’t make it, if you let myself or Mrs McCarthy know then we will provide you with the materials given out.
Just a quick reminder : Year 2 Mastery Maths session will take place in the Year 2 classroom straight after school. Children are welcome.
If you want to enter the Easter Bonnet Competition, please make sure you bring it in to school on Wednesday 28th March. The school governors will be judging. Good Luck!
